Forest Villa Borovets is a paradise spot located in a quiet and peaceful place in the forest, only 200 meters from the Red Flag slope. The villa has been completely renovated in authentic mountain design. It is built entirely of eco-friendly materials, predominantly natural stone and wood. The villa stands out with its unique forest atmosphere and distinctive style.
The villa is situated in the ski resort of Borovets in the Rila Mountains. It is about a 60-minute drive from the capital Sofia. It is in an exceptionally quiet and peaceful location, 200 meters from Hotel Rila, the center of Borovets, and the ski slopes of the resort, as well as 400 meters from the gondola lift.
The Forest Villa is a three-story house with a maximum accommodation capacity of up to 22 people, accommodated in double and triple rooms, each with its own bathroom. On the first floor, there is a living room with a fireplace, a dining room, and a kitchen equipped with stoves, an oven, three refrigerators with freezers, a dishwasher, a range hood, an espresso machine, a kettle, a microwave, a toaster, a drip coffee maker, and a juicer.
On the same floor, there is also a second living room with high tables, convenient for both dining and various games.
The floor also has a separate toilet and a room for storing ski equipment.
On the ground floor, there is another double room, a bar with tables specially designed for chess, a laundry room with a dryer, a relaxation area with a sauna, and a separate bathroom with a shower. On the second and third floors, there are 4 rooms each (double and triple), every one with its own bathroom and terrace.
In front of the villa, there is a large veranda with a year-round hot tub and an outdoor heated pool operating from May to October, maintaining a constant temperature of 29–31 degrees. Around the pool, there is a deck made of natural wood, with wooden loungers and armchairs. For our youngest guests, we have a separate children’s pool.
The villa also offers an outdoor barbecue area, including a charcoal barbecue with a table for about 12 people, outdoor parking spaces for 4–6 cars, swings, hammocks, an outdoor children’s playground, and a relaxation corner.
The villa provides a shuttle bus to the Gondola and back during the winter ski season (with prior reservation).
For the additional comfort of our guests, we can offer an amazing homemade breakfast. All products we use are homemade goods from small farms and producers — milk, cheeses, yellow cheeses, sausages, butter, jams, mountain tea, homemade syrups, and liqueurs.
Also available is a specially selected three- or four-course menu for lunch or dinner, prepared by our chefs at Moura Mountain & Villas Spa Hotel. We provide catering of the food at a time specified by the guests. Everyone is also welcome at our restaurant in Moura Mountain & Villas Spa Hotel, which offers buffet dining or an à la carte menu.
Upon request, we can organize excursions to the Tsarska Bistritsa Palace, the Seven Rila Lakes, Musala Peak, and the Cherna Skala area, with or without a mountain guide, as well as various activities such as tennis or horseback riding. We also offer transfers to and from Sofia and Plovdiv.

Borovets offers more than 58 km of marked ski runs, the longest of which is 12 km, a 35 km cross-country ski track, a biathlon course, and a 70-meter ski jump.
The ski area has three zones for alpine skiing and snowboarding:
- Sitnyakovo Ski Center – from 1350 m to 1780 m altitude, equipped with snow cannons covering more than 2.0 km of slopes – “Martinovi Baraki”, as well as night skiing slopes “Iglika” and “Rila”.
- Yastrebets Ski Center – from 1340 m to 2369 m altitude, with snow cannons providing excellent coverage on the “Popangelov” (former “Yastrebets 2”) and “Yastrebets 3” slopes with an area of 200 decares.
- Markudjik Ski Center – from 2144 m to 2550 m altitude.
With varying levels of difficulty, the slopes are suitable for beginners, advanced skiers, and experts.
