Yarema

The Yarema villa zone is located on the eastern slopes of Vitosha, within the Pancharevo district, only 25 km south of downtown Sofia. Nearby are the villages of Zheleznitsa and Bistritsa to the north, and Plana, 11 km to the southeast. The area offers many natural landmarks to visit. One of the most popular spots is the mineral spring “Zheleznitsa.” It is about 2 km from the village, with a year-round water temperature of 28°C, emerging from around 12 springs. There are two or three forest pools (natural jacuzzis) designed for treating stress, fatigue, and skin conditions.

A popular hiking destination is the panoramic trail Galunka, which connects the Vitosha villages of Bistritsa and Zheleznitsa. It is 4,300 meters long and takes about 2 hours to walk. The trail starts at the end of Bistritsa and finishes at Aneva Fountain before reaching Zheleznitsa. Along the way, there are several designated spots for rest and picnics.

The “Adgor” equestrian base is located right next to the Yarema villa zone, in an exceptionally beautiful area with breathtaking views of four mountains – Rila, Verila, Vitosha, and Plana. The base offers riding lessons for both beginners and advanced riders.
